Check out these posts we have written before about the Garmin Vivoactive 3. Dustin published his review of the Garmin Vivoactive 3 and you can see the 5 Key Differences Between the Apple Watch Series 3 and the Garmin Vivoactive 3. I will say this, it is definitely a nice Garmin and perfect for day-to-day use while getting smart notifications and keeping you covered with GPS tracking for your runs.

At $99, this is pretty much a no-brainer for any one that needs a GPS watch with smartwatch notifications. It will not do everything the Forerunner 245, 645, Fenix, etc will do but it is just $99.
