Small Business Saturday

I wrote about Small Business Saturday last month and it is now open for registering! Here is what to do:

• Go to the Amex Small Business Saturday registration site – here
• Register EACH American Express card you have (this includes cards held by authorized users)
• Go to the Small Business map to identify the small business stores that are eligible for the $10 rebate
• Start spending – the best option would be to purchase gift cards at the small business

As I mentioned before, many of the running stores around the US qualify as small businesses for this promotion. This deal is perfect for the running community! If you have had your eye on one of Garmin’s new GPS watches, for example, you could pick up a bunch of gift cards (if you have a bunch of Amex cards) and get the watch at an enormous discount!
