What Is Best Buy Elite Access?
Best Buy has two elite levels – Elite and Elite Plus. A customer reaches the tiers by spending a certain amount in a calendar year, $1,500 for Elite and $3,500 for Elite Plus. Since they introduced the new program (and for years before that), I have had Elite Plus (of the highest before) access. I love it for a variety of reasons but one is the ability to get early Black Friday access. In fact, each year, I am able to grab everything I would look for on Black Friday the Monday before. Not bad!
How to Get the Best Buy Early Black Friday Prices?
First, if you are an elite member (it is open to Elite as well as Elite Plus members), you need to be signed it to your Best Buy account. Once you are, you can visit the link above and start shopping. The items that are on sale will have their regular or sale price slowly cross out and it will reveal your Black Friday prices.
If you are not able to gain access, do not worry. I did some shopping for my 5th anniversary giveaway next month so you will have a shot to get some cool things. 🙂
Some Best Buy Early Black Friday Items to See
Tablets
There are several tablets on sale, including the iPad Pro 9.7″ models, two Amazon Fire tablets, and a Samsung tablet.

Computers
One interesting item up for sale has actually been on sale for a week so you should be able to access it. It is the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 on sale for $599, down from $999. You can also find other various computers and laptops for sale. For Mac lovers, the new non-Touch Bar 13″ MacBook Pro is discounted $100 so that is nice. There are also discounts up to $200 on MacBook Air 13″ models and the iMac desktops.
Televisions
To be honest, I used to be more clued in on the prices of televisions and what they were going for. It has been a while since I have checked so make sure you read the reviews. Still, there seem to be some pretty decent deals.
- Samsung – 55″ Class (54.6″ Diag.) – LED – 2160p – Smart – 4K Ultra HD TV – Black – $479.99 (regularly $799.99)
- LG – 40″ Class (39.5″ Diag.) – LED – 1080p – HDTV – Black – $149.99 (regularly $279.99)
-
Samsung – 50″ Class (49.5″ Diag.) – LED – 1080p – Smart – HDTV – Black – $299.99 (regularly $549.99)
Fitness/Wearables
This is a category I love to watch (no pun intended!) and there are several decent deals here.
- All Apple Watch Series 1 watches (released this year but without GPS) – $50 off
- Garmin Fenix 3 HR – $399 (regularly $599)
- Garmin Forerunner 235 – $249.99 (regularly $329.99)
- Garmin fitness trackers – various discounts
- Samsung Gear S2 Watches – between $20 – $50 off
I have the Garmin Fenix 3 and love it. The Garmin Fenix 3 HR has an optical hear rate monitor built-in to the back of the watch (like the Apple Watch). It is a quality watch.
