Amazon is running a sale on their Kindle Touch edition to celebrate National Reading Month (who knew?!). I am a huge Kindle fan having had several different models over the years. It is just amazing that you can slip one of these durable, small devices into your bag or pocket and really never need to think about charging it during a trip.

The battery lasts for weeks on these and it holds more books than you could ever read in a year so, for me, this device is a must-have in my bag whenever I travel. Yes, I know tablets can do much more (and I have one) but the ease of reading on the e-ink display and the small, durable casing of the Kindle makes it a winner for reading.

The discounted price of $59 is only to last through March 8, so if you are interested in it, I would get it before then when it will return t0 $79.
