SAS has had a promo that has kids fly free and for people traveling from the US, that can be awesome. Aegean does not fly that far so this is strictly for people who are coming to Greece from Europe or wanting to bounce around Greece while visiting.
Yes, you can likely find cheaper fares with low cost carriers but if you have Star Alliance status or you want to select your seats and get a free bag, this promo is for you.
If you are traveling with your kids, you want to make your seat selections to all sit together. With low cost carriers, you are paying for that – possibly more than the ticket cost! With this promo, you get 30% discount on seat selection fees.
In addition to that, you get one bag for free. If you don’t have elite status, this can definitely help. If you are flying with pets, you can use code FAMILYOFFER to get 20% off pet fees.

The Kids Fly Free Promo
So, here is what you need to know about this promo! It applies for all children under the age of 12. You will need to pay airport fees but the ticket itself will be free. This promo must be booked by March 2 but is good for all tickets booked between March 15 – October 31, 2022.
This is a huge stretch of time so if you can get your travel plans lined up, you are in for some savings with your kids! Plus, you will get double Aegean miles – great if you are using these flights to re-qualify for elite status with Aegean (like I am doing very shortly).

Sorry you missed it! Based on previous years, they won’t offer it again this year. It did run earlier this year than previous years, however, so maybe?
Definitely check out some of the low cost carriers as well. They may not offer everything Aegean does but they may beat their price by quite a bit, depending on where you are going.
