Southwest is really doing a good job expanding their destinations around the country, as well as adding some international destinations.
Here are the new destinations that Southwest announced yesterday:
Beginning October 13, 2014, the following cities will receive nonstop service from Dallas:
- Baltimore – three roundtrips a day
- Chicago Midway – five roundtrips a day, up to six after November 2
- Denver – three roundtrips a day
- Las Vegas – three roundtrips a day, up to four after November 2
- Los Angeles – three roundtrips a day, up to four after November 2
- Orlando – two roundtrips a day, up to three after November 2
- Washington Reagan National – three roundtrips a day, up to six after November 2
Beginning November 2, 2014, the following cities will receive nonstop service from Dallas:
- Atlanta – four roundtrips a day
- Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood – two roundtrips a day
- Nashville – two roundtrips a day
- New York Laguardia – three roundtrips a day
- Phoenix – four roundtrips a day
- San Diego – two roundtrips a day
- Santa Ana/Orange County – one roundtrip a day
- Tampa Bay – two roundtrips a day
The following cities will receive nonstop service from Reagan National:
- Chicago Midway – six roundtrips a day beginning August 10, going to nine flights a day September 30
- Nashville – three roundtrips a day beginning August 10
- New Orleans – two roundtrips a day beginning August 10
- Tampa – two roundtrips a day beginning September 30
- Akron/Canton – one roundtrip a day beginning November 2
- Indianapolis – one roundtrip a day beginning November 2
New international destinations beginning November 2:
- Atlanta – Punta Cana
- Austin – Cancun
- Baltimore/Washington – Punta Cana
- Chicago Midway – Cancun
- Chicago Midway – Montego Bay
- Chicago Midway – Punta Cana
- San Antonio – Mexico City
- Santa Ana/Orange County – Mexico City
In addition, Southwest has now opened up their schedule through January 4, 2015!
