Here is a deal roundup of some of the deals that caught my attention today.

Deal Roundup

Great eBag Deals

eBags is one of those online retailers that has a trifecta working with it – cashback portals, discount codes, and Amex Offers. Not only that, but they have their own loyalty program that gives 5% towards future purchases.

The part that makes this a great deal is the addition of a $10 off $50 offer or $25 off $100. When combined with the $15 back on $75 purchase with the Amex Offer and a portal offer like 15% cashback (with TopCashBack), you stand to get some very good deals.

Amex Offer: $15 Back on $75 eBags Purchase

Accessing the Amex Offer

Log in to your American Express account and click on any of the cards you have in the account. Scroll down to the Offers portion and you should see the following offer waiting for you!

Amex offer

Here are the details:

  • Must be used by June 10, 2015
  • Must be used online
  • Enrollment limited (in other words, save this offer to your card now)

To maximize itadd the offer to separate cards, simply login to your American Express account and then choose to duplicate the tab (if using Google Chrome) as many times as you have cards. Once they are all open, select a different Amex card in each tab and select to save the offer to the card. This shows up as available on every one of my cards – charge cards, business cards, and personal cards.

Use Discount Code

eBags

The discount code that will take $10 off $50 or $25 off $100 is EMJN1ME. The best thing to do would be to purchase something at the $100 amount or so as the $25 off will still give you $75 in spend to trigger the $15 cash back. This discount code expires June 2 at 11:59PM.

Sign-up for their rewards program

You will receive a 5% bonus in the rewards program on everything you buy. This bonus can be used on future purchases.

Go Through An Online Shopping Portal

TopCashBack is currently offering 15% cashback on eBags purchases so that may be a good place to start. To see the full list of portals with eBags, check out Cashbackmonitor.com.

Putting It Together

The best way to maximize the deal is to buy something right at/around the $100 mark. That will give you the $25 off to bring your order total to $75. The $75 will still trigger the Amex Offer giving you another $15 back. When you take into account the 15% cashback, you will end up paying only $48.75 for a $100 luggage item – a savings of over 50%!

3rd Night Free At Luxury Hotel [Amex Offer]

Amex Offer

A new Amex Offer is for a complimentary 3rd night at the upscale hotel in New York City, The Pierre. I wrote about this hotel last year as they offered what had to be one of the most expensive marathon hotel packages around. It seems like a really nice hotel and has the prices to go with it.

However, with this offer, you will get the 3rd night free as well as a dining credit of $50.

Details:

  • Must stay between 6/1/2015 – 9/7/2015
  • Must use at tajhotels.com/amexoffer
  • There is no tax on the third night stay

To get this offer, check your Amex Offers and save it to your card.

Logitech iPad Accessory Sale

The final deal is for Logitech iPad accessories. You can save up to 50% with this Amazon Deal of the Day on a total of 11 products featuring keyboards and cases.
