I am not a Indians fan or a Cubs fan but am a Cubs fan for this year’s World Series as I really want to see them end their WS drought. And I am not alone! The average cost World Series Game 7 tickets is thousands of dollars. Well, thanks to SPG, you can use points (a lot of them!) to get tickets and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
First Pitch and World Series Game 7 Tickets – With Starpoints
You will have to have a lot of points and think fast because the auction ends in a few hours. The bidding is already close to 600,000 points so it will likely be out of range for most of us.
But, if you have them and you really want to go, this could be a fantastic chance for you! Here are the details:
- Access for one (1) to throw a ceremonial pitch prior to Game 7 of the 2016 World Series on 2 November 2016
- Two (2) tickets to Game 7 (Cleveland Indians™ vs. Chicago Cubs™) of the 2016 World Series in section 140 on 2 November 2016 at Progressive Field*
- Auction Link
- End Time – 11:00 AM (but extends 5 minutes every time a bid is entered in the last 5 minutes)
- Current bid – 572,275 Starpoints
Good luck! It should be a really cool experience! Go Cubs!
While this would be super cool it’s not as great as it seems at first glance. This is because MLB has polluted “the” ceremonial first pitch with “many” first pitches. Last game I went to there was like 15 “first” pitches from all sorts of random people.
Not trying to be negative but just being clear for some that might not be aware.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Dan from DansDeals wins this auction to root on his Indians.
@ Larry – Dan from Dansdeals actually won the auction!
Don’t anybody tell Charlie Sheen.
@Nico you just made my day LOL. That would great. Charlie Sheen shows up as the Wild Thing onto the field.
Now, if I could only predict who will won the game tonight ……. or what teams will cover the spread on Sunday.
Fun topic that most people think is a waste of points, but since a popular saying is “earn and burn”, this is no better way of burning for a Cleveland fan.
how many points did it go for?
Dan from Dan’s Deals bought it for 1,060,000 Starpoints!
