The Waldorf Astoria brand for Hilton is the luxury line of hotels. From iconic locations around the world, you can pretty much book one knowing that it should be the best that Hilton has to offer.
The Latest Waldorf Astoria Is Open – In Atlanta
Now, Atlanta is the newest home to a Waldorf Astoria. It has opened this week and is available for bookings now. With prices from $380 a night and point reservations at the 93,000 – 95,000 point mark, it is not a cheap hotel but WA hotels rarely are. Instead, it gives this Hilton brand a presence in the Atlanta area, specifically Buckhead, for any travelers that appreciate what the Waldorf Astoria hotels have to offer.
This is not a brand new building or hotel, however. Instead, it previously was the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta. Before that, it was the Rosewood Hotel at the time of its original opening back in 2008.
With 127 hotel rooms and 10 suites, this hotel should have something for anyone looking for that special trip in the Atlanta area. The smallest rooms are at 480 square feet and they go all the way up to over 2,300 square feet with the Presidential Suite. Like all Hilton hotels, you can book any of these rooms or suites with points, but the value of your points will go down when you get to suite level.
The hotel also has 47 private residences.
I always enjoy stays at Waldorf Astoria hotels and I just wish this hotel had been there back in 2006 when we were passing through on our honeymoon! Those are those special times I love to splurge extra with points for something special and Hilton makes that possible with points possible for any room. Maybe someday, if I can put up with the Atlanta traffic. 🙂
