Surprise! A Southwest sale is out and it is not a Tuesdy! That means that if you want to get a jump on everyone who waits until Tuesday, now is the time to check your travel plans and current reservations. You could save money or points on new and existing reservations!

Tuesday in the travel deal world is synonymous with Southwest sale day. However, Southwest pulled a little of a surprise and rolled out a sale that started today instead. This means that if you want to get some of the best sale rates, check them out today. Or, you know, you could wait until next Tuesday! 🙂

By the way, I absolutely love the non-subtle hints about Southwest’s competition in their sales – yes, their “basic” fares include stuff that other airlines would end up charging more for than their first class prices!

  • Continental U.S. travel valid 11/19/18 – 5/22/19.
    • Travel to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico valid 1/14/19 – 2/28/19, and 4/23/19 – 5/16/19.

For some reason, Southwest has no LUV for Orange County, California with this sale as they have excluded them from it. Don’t worry about it, SNA, my hometown of Rochester has been on the ban list before!

This sale is also good for travel into May of 2019! That means that if you had any plans for travel all the way into May of next year.
