Southwest normally blacks out summer dates for their good sales but this time, it is just summer that is on sale. Plus, they have made it to look a bit like their famous WOW sales that start at $49 – but this is actually better.
Here are the details for this Southwest summer sale.
- 14-day advance purchase required.
- Purchase from May 12 through June 12, 2020, 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
- Continental U.S. travel valid May 26 through August 31, 2020.
- Except as otherwise specified, continental U.S. travel is not valid on Fridays and Sundays.
- Travel to Ft. Myers/Naples, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando, and Las Vegas and from Ft. Myers/Naples, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando to Las Vegas is valid only on Sundays through Wednesdays. Travel from Ft. Myers/Naples, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando and Las Vegas and from Las Vegas to Ft. Myers/Naples, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, and Orlando is valid only on Tuesdays through Fridays.
If your eventual travel will take place Monday – Thursday or Saturday, you are looking at all non-stop flights costing between $49 and $99 on one-way tickets. That is really good! For example, one long-haul Southwest flight is Phoenix to Buffalo – available for just $99 one way!
Remember, you can always cancel or change flights for free with Southwest. If you had previously booked travel for the summer months, you should definitely rebook it because you probably paid more than these prices currently are! You will get a credit for the difference.
