Remembering 9/11

Remember 9/11
Written by Charlie

This day every year brings many memories to mind. It is hard to believe that so many years have already passed. For the average American, each September 11th is a reminder that another year has separated us from that terrible day; for the family members of those who died, it is a stark reminder of another year that has separated them from their loved one. Remember 9/11

While it is good that America stood up and kept going, it is still good for the heart and soul of America to take this time to remember what this day meant for thousands of family members, what it meant for a city, what it meant for a country. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families who were impacted on that terrible day, my thanks and appreciation is with all of the public service members who risked their lives to rescue those involved in the attacks, and my hope is with all of America that we will never forget the moment that reminded us that we were not a nation divided but one nation under God.
