- Lake Placid Marathon/Half-Marathon (June 8) – Marathon goes from $90 to $100 and the Half-Marathon goes from $80 to $90
- Hatfield and McCoy Marathon/Races (June 14) – Marathon and Half-Marathon go from $60 to $70

Hi Charles,
Have you participated in either the Lake Placid or Buffalo marathon? If yes, was the course scenic.
Ola
I have not, but I have friends who have done them. This year, Buffalo has a new course which they promise to be scenic and fast. Lake Placid also scenic, but it is a double loop course (for the marathon).
Grandma’s was my first full marathon, and I agree that it’s great! Not only that, but it’s FLAT and has great community support. It was drizzly, foggy, and cold (mid 40s) but there were still a lot of spectators (even for slower runners like me).
I love when a race has great community support and I have heard that from many about Grandma’s! Glad you enjoyed it, it had to be an awesome first marathon!
