New Chase United Explorer Offer of 55,000 Miles + Another New Targeted Offer

Written by Charlie

There is another new Chase United Explorer offer out and it will give you 55,000 miles! In addition to this one, there is another new targeted offer available now as well which makes for 4 offers total on the same card! But, there is very little reason to go for the very public offer now…

Advertiser Disclosure

The Chase United Explorer card was (re)introduced on June 1. It added a couple of features and took away a couple of features. It has been at a public bonus of 40,000 miles plus a $100 statement credit since then but there has also been a targeted offer of 65,000 miles (with the AU bonus) that you can read about here.

Now, there is another new Chase United Explorer public offer – but you won’t find it on the Chase home page or most websites. Here are the details about this new Chase United Explorer public offer:

  • Earn 50,000 bonus miles after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months
  • Earn 5,000 bonus miles when you add an authorized user and they make a purchase with the card
  • 2X Miles at United, restaurants and hotels (when purchased directly with the hotel)
  • Up to $100 Global Entry or TSA Precheck fee credit
  • 25% back on United inflight Wi-Fi, food and drinks
  • Priority boarding
  • 2 United Club passes annually
  • Annual fee – $95 (waived for the first year)
  • Premier upgrades on award tickets – The primary Cardmember who is also a MileagePlus Premier® member and traveling on an award ticket can take advantage of Complimentary Premier Upgrades on United-operated flights (when available).
  • Offer not available if you have this card now and have had the bonus in the last 24 months. Also not available to those under Chase 5/24

Unlike the other 40,000 miles (or 45,000 miles with the authorized user bonus) offer there is no $100 statement credit with this offer. But, read on!

Which United Explorer Offer to Choose?

Not Targeted?

If you are not targeted for either of the better offers, it would come down to this – do you value $100 or 10,000 miles more? I know United miles are not what they used to be but I would think that most of us would value the United miles more. So, go with this public offer – hereNote: the 50,000 mile offer actually requires $3,000 in 3 months instead of the $2,000 required by the lower offer so remember that.

Targeted

If you are targeted for one or both of the better offers, then go for a targeted offer! If you value the miles more than the $100 statement credit, go for this offer. It will give you 65,000 miles and no statement credit.

    • Ah, that’s too bad! Thanks for the data point, though! If you are interested in it, the 50K offer without the statement credit should be a good deal!
