When it comes to Italian food, the conversation about which restaurants get it right can get as charged as conversations about politics! Trust me, I do not want to start an authentic vs non-authentic battle on Italian food here! 🙂
Never Ending Classics At Olive Garden with Amex Offer for Big Savings
Link: Never Ending Classics
But, I did grow up eating at Olive Garden a few times a year and it was the restaurant I would go to when in town somewhere to run a marathon (if there was not a Carabbas there!) since it was food I was familiar with and I knew what would bother me going into a marathon the next morning. People love the Never Ending Pasta Bowl that comes out in the fall each year and it has helped a lot of marathon runners who want their carb fix at a discount before the race. Now, Olive Garden is doing Never Ending Classics – so you could do unlimited lasagna if you want!
They say the prices start at $11.99 and you will be charged for the most expensive dish that you select from your many dishes. I honestly do not know how many plates I could put away there (I don’t even want to think about the calories from 3 dishes!) but if you want to try and stretch your dining dollar, this could be for you! Or, if you are like my dad who never liked the portions getting smaller, this could be your chance to get all of those portion sizes back! 🙂
Here are the dishes that you can get with the Never Ending Classics special:
- Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
- Fettuccini Alfredo
- Lasagna Classico
- Chicken Alfredo
- Chicken Parmigiana
The Amex Offer – Spend $40, get $10 Back
If you want to make this a better deal, you can hurry in and get a gift card (or more) to trigger the Amex Offer that gives you $10 back on $40 or more spent at Olive Garden. That is 25% off whatever you get at Olive Garden, as long as you have it on enough cards. That was a good deal already but now you can get even more bang for your buck when you go in for the Never Ending Classics.
The Amex Offer expires 1/31/2017 – so that is tomorrow! If you eat out, you should probably grab a gift card anyway since a 25% discount on a gift card is pretty nice!
