Are These MLB Packages Worth It?

In many cases, the seats are pretty good and would likely cost more than $100 per ticket at face value, more on the resale market. Certainly check the seating section to be sure. But, I can tell you that the Chicago Cub packages would certainly be good deals for the Cubs fan (or the fan of the team they are playing) since those seats would go for more and the experiences – having your child run out on the field, delivering the line-up card, announcing “Play Ball” – are things that you wouldn’t be able to pay for with money anyway.

But, do the math yourself and figure out if this is how you want to use your Starpoints. Sure, 30,000 Starpoints could give you a night at a very nice SPG property but maybe it would mean more to you to have your 7-13 year old child be able to run out the field with the players, get a photo out there, and then you could enjoy the game with him/her from the field box seats. That is one the greatest things about SPG Starpoints – they can give you a lot beyond travel!
