If you are a frequent flyer to/from the NYC area, check out this BLADE pass for helicopter transfers to Manhattan at discount prices. This could be a great deal for some!

Blade has made tremendous progress in the NYC area over the last few months now offering 5 minute helicopter transfers from/to Manhattan and all three major NYC airports (LGA, EWR, and JFK). These flights ring in at $195 per person, per flight thought it is possible to get a discount code sometimes.

While that price is steep, you need to really think about it if you are a passenger who regularly travels by car from an airport like JFK to Manhattan. The cost for private car transfers/Uber/Lyft could get close to that price if you are out in rush traffic.

Of course, it is also a pretty cool thing to think that from take-off to touchdown in the helicopter, you are transiting from JFK/EWR/LGA airports to Manhattan in just 5 minutes! Not bad! While it may be something everyone wants to try once, there are many of you frequent flyers who fly out of NYC area airports all year long. Once you try Blade, you may not want to do anything else! If that is the case, this limited-time offer from Blade could be what you are looking for!

There are two passes you can buy – one is $295 for the year and gives you a $50 discount every time (among other perks) and the other is $795 for those who have expense policies for work that you need to spend under $100 for transfers. For that pass, you will pay just $95 for a helicopter transfer!

Here are the details on both passes:

BLADE Airport Pass

  • Flight Savings – $50 off every BLADE Airport flight you take in the next year
  • Convenient Travel Options – Travel between three BLADE Manhattan Lounges and JFK, Newark, or LaGuardia Airports
  • Companion Savings – Receive $25 off one companion seat per flight (as long as you are flying on that same flight)
  • Customer Service – Dedicated 24/7 Flier Relations Specialists
  • Link: BLADE Airport Pass: $295

BLADE Airport Pass Plus

  • Increased Flight Savings – $100 off every BLADE Airport flight you take in the next year — that’s unlimited flights to or from all airports for only $95 — less than the cost of almost any car service.
  • Corporate Expense Friendly – Flights cost only $95 (after pass discount) which fits within most corporate expense account limits for airport transport. If you (or your company) pay for the Pass, then you can expense all of your flights (YOUR CFO WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT.)
  • Convenient Travel Options – Travel between three BLADE Manhattan Lounges and JFK, Newark, or LaGuardia Airports
  • Companion Savings – Receive $50 off one companion seat per flight (as long as you are flying on that same flight)
  • Customer Service – Dedicated 24/7 Flier Relations Specialists
  • Link: BLADE Airport Pass PLUS: $795

These are in limited quantity so if you are interested, act fast! The $295 pass will start saving you money after your 6th helicopter flight. Something to think about if you value your time and typically transfer for flights during rush hours.

  • This could be very useful if you live or work near a heliport. Sometimes getting to or from the airport in NYC takes just as long as the flight.
