This is the last day to pick up up to 13,000 bonus miles through these airline portals! With AA miles, you could earn enough for a domestic ticket, thanks to low award costs!

This is the last day for the following airline portal bonuses. It is no surprise that these are ending just as some big Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are about to begin. The retailers are already cutting prices and they don’t want to have to pay out on shopping bonuses as well. So, if there are some things you need now, check out these portals.

Remember, these tiered bonus mile offerings are in addition to whatever shopping portals are offering for each retailer. So, you could earn quite a bit more than these bonuses show! Also, these are not cumulative totals – the maximum amount is the most you can earn with the bonus promo.

Which Shopping Portal Bonus Should You Use?

You can actually use all of them but that would require you spending $4,500 in the next few weeks and that is not something that most people will be doing. However, if you value the most miles possible, I would definitely start with the United Airlines bonus. Because you will also earn miles on the purchases you make (some could be up to 20 miles per dollar), spending $1,500 through the United shopping portal with retailers would net you at least 6,500 United Airline miles. That is over half way to a one-way award in the US which could be very lucrative on some routes!

What About that Domestic Ticket?

American Airlines has not gone revenue based (yet!) but they have been rolling out some pretty amazing Web Special fares for economy awards! In fact, this week, there are 5,000 mile awards for transcontinental flights! That is pretty amazing and if you earn just 2 miles per dollar on whatever you buy through the AA portal, you will have earned enough with the $1,200 in shopping spend to get those 5,000 miles for the next trip!

AA is especially important since you cannot transfer miles to them from a regular transferrable points program. While there are some sales, you still need to spend quite a bit to buy them. So, this would be a nice way to make sure you have at least 5,000 miles in your account the next time a great Web Special comes around!
