This is one of those crowdfunding items that just leaves me amazed at the backing it received. The folks at Bluesmart had shot for a goal of $50,000 to be able to bring what they call “The World’s First Smart, Connected Carry-on.” They blew past that goal and are currently at $1.2 million! That is just unbelievable and has to have the Bluesmart team ecstatic!
Anyway, their crowdfunding campaign is set to end at 11:59PM tomorrow (PT). They have estimated that the bags will be delivered in August of 2015. If you want to get in on the $260 price (up from the $235 of a couple of weeks ago), this is your last chance. They have set the retail pricing at $495, so this could be the best deal you get on this for a while. Plus, if you refer people to the item and they contribute, you will receive $20 towards the bag and they will receive $20 off as well.
