Here are the terms for this sale:
- Book between November 15, 2016, and February 28, 2017, to save up to 25% at more than 160 participating hotels.
- Stay between December 15, 2016, and March 15, 2017.
- Reservations must be made at least three days in advance, with full pre-payment. Book now or call your nearest Global Contact Center and mention “The Places You Can Explore.”
- Savings of up to 25% off is based on the Standard Rate, and will be reflected in rate confirmed at time of reservation
- Use Special Offer code EXPL16
- No hotels available in the US!

There are a large number of Hyatt hotels that are higher-end properties, including many Park Hyatt properties. There is also a good spread across the Hyatt portfolio of brands and spread around the world so chances are pretty good that you may find something that works for you in this sale.
With 23% of Hyatt properties included in this sale, it is a pretty extensive sale. Now, the 25% discount is at the top and various properties may have different discounts below that for certain dates so make sure you check it out. In some cases, it may be the same prices as the regular advanced purchase rate. But, I found many instances where it was far below the advanced purchase rate!
Just a note: Hyatt gift cards are for use at Hyatt properties in the US so you will not be able to use those for this sale since these properties are all out of the US.
Can you use DSU or suite night upgrades with these ones?
I did not see anything in the terms that prohibited it so you should be ok. Maybe contact their Twitter team to be sure (they are great at responding).
