This is something that I have been checking multiple times a day since Southwest announced they had clearance from the FAA last week and it is now here! Southwest has started selling flights to Hawaii and they are starting at some incredibly cheap prices! Get booking since the cheap seats will not be around for long!

Been a longtime waiting to see that kind of a city pair from Southwest!

I just saw from One Mile at a Time that Southwest has officially launched flights to Hawaii and they start at just $49 (or 2,000 points) one way from Oakland to Honolulu with a start date of March 18. That is coming up very fast!
According to OMaaT, here is the schedule as of right now:
- Oakland to Honolulu flights start March 17, 2019
- Oakland to Maui flights start April 7, 2019
- San Jose to Honolulu flights start May 5, 2019
- San Jose to Maui flights start May 26, 2019
- Inter-island flights from Honolulu to both Kona and Maui start May 12, 2019
I have also seen some rumors that Southwest may also launch flights from Las Vegas to Hawaii, which would also be great.
I have no idea how long these incredibly cheap fares will last for so book quickly! Remember, you can always cancel and get your points back for free or change for free! Also, you still get 2 free bags!
