Hotel Award Availability For The Boston Marathon

Award availability Boston Marathon
Written by Charlie

This is going to be the most highly attended Boston Marathon of all time. Some of the reason is that the Boston Marathon does continue to grow with the numbers of out-of-town guests each year, but the biggest reason is because of runners who wish to show their respect and support for Boston after the bombing of last year. It is a wonderful thing to see so many people coming together to honor those who were so terribly affected in the bombing.

While it is wonderful that so many people are attending/running, that means that the hotels are quickly booking up all over the city. I have never seen so many hotels booked this far out from the marathon. Award availability is really hurting as a result. To help those of you who might still be trying to figure out hotels, here is a list that is current (as of February 13) of the hotels that have award availability for the Boston Marathon.

Summary

Even with the shrinking hotel award availability, there are still some options available. Of course, Hotwire or Priceline are options as well. If you do decide to go the cash route, you may want to consider using the Barclay Arrival card as the miles from the card can be used against all kinds of travel. If you are running Boston, good luck!
