I am a big fan of the GoPro lineup of cameras (actually, action cameras in general). Not only are they useful for, you know, action and sports but they are also great little cameras to take anywhere with you. Even though most do not have a display on them (you can use your phone as a display), the lens is a wide enough angle that you can easily just hold it to capture what is in front of it.
My kids love using mine under water at the sea. It does a great job of picking up quality video, photos, and even some decent audio underwater.
Starting today, eBay has one of their deals as the GoPro HERO4 Black for $399 – $100 off regular price. The seller is a large photo/video retailer, Adorama, and they have a great track record. They are the ones that have done the $399 sale before as well.
The GoPro HERO4 Black is GoPro’s top-of-the-line camera, recording in some pretty stunning 4K video. The camera is great and I am really happy with mine. They did just come out with the smaller GoPro Session camera, however. If you don’t need on camera controls or the 4K, that may be something you would want to look at. It is also available for $399.
