Time for a good deal on the Garmin Vivoactive 3 GPS running watch! At just under $100, this is a great watch for running, paying from your wrist, and works great for everyday wear as well.

With the coronavirus situation over the last year, many people have started running or walking to get some exercise and keep themselves in shape. With many gyms/fitness centers closed and group activities at a standstill in many places, running is the perfect activity to get out and enjoy one’s self.

No matter if you are new to running or have been doing it for a while, having a GPS running watch is a great way to track your workout. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 (review here), though it has been out for a few years now, is a stellar lifestyle GPS watch. By this I mean it can track your fitness activities, give you contactless payment from your wrist, and look good enough to wear all day long.

Speaking of all day long, the battery life of the Vivoactive 3 will blow the Apple Watch out of the water (check out my comparison between them here) since it lasts several days between charges – while using it for a run each day!

I actually still own a Garmin Vivoactive 3 as a backup for my Garmin Fenix 6. They have become so inexpensive now that it was worth it for me to have it in case of some problem on my Fenix so I still have a watch for runs. But, it is still a wholly capable watch as an everyday watch as well. It is lightweight, has a great screen, and does everything a runner may need it to do.

At one penny under $100, this is a great deal for a quality GPS running watch that has kept its value year after year.

Want Something Better?

If you want the successor to this watch, the Garmin Vivoactive 4 is currently on sale for $249, $100 off. This watch offers two different sizes as well as things like PulseOx, respiration tracking, and onboard music playback.
