If you are not familiar with Google Express, it is a Google website which allows you to place orders from every day retailers and brick-and-mortar stores through the Google Express website. For example, you can even order things like food products from Target through Google Express – as well as tech, housing products, and much more!
Now, you can place an order of $125 or more through Google Express and get a free Google Home Mini. These retail for $49 (though you can typically find them for less than $30 with some deal stacking) and they really work quite well! We have a few of them set up in a connected configuration in various rooms to play the same music.

How is the Google Home Mini?
The Google Home Mini also works great with the Google Assistant. The Google Assistant is getting smarter and smarter and will even eventually have the capability to do things like call airlines to change flights, cancel flights, and much more!
It makes sense that Google wants to get their Google Assistant in as many homes as possible because it helps Google Assistant become more powerful as more people rely on it and its tasks expand by learning.
That’s if you want Google collecting data on you?
There is switch to shut off the microphone so it is not listening for the Google commands. This works as a great speaker regardless, especially if you want a cheap way to link up multiple rooms in a speaker system without running cables
