Of course, Southwest sales are nothing new. In fact, they are around almost every week. But, they are great for a couple of reasons – one is the ability to change your existing reservation and rebook at a cheaper price for free and another is that the sales gradually extend deeper into the year.

No LUV for Rochester, NY – and growing?
The last sale had something strange about it – they are specifically had excluded Rochester and Albany, NY from the sale. This time, they are spreading the non-LUV as they have now included Portland, Maine in the cities that are excluded from savings.
Rochester, NY is my hometown airport and so I find that to be somewhat peculiar as to why they would exclude it. I know the Lilac Festival is a big deal but not big enough to declare “no-sale” for the whole sale period. It is unfortunate that they continue to exclude it.

Im curious on why Albany is excluded too. Very strange
Opened for the 2017-2018 school year at a cost of $15 million, The Restaurants at Southwest dining facility features something for everyone. Unlike the traditional, buffet-style, all-you-can eat service of most student dining halls, The Restaurants at Southwest offers a la carte service, which lessens food waste and inventory. The Restaurants at Southwest features six restaurant-style dining options, which include: Legacy Grill – Classic burgers, hand-cut fries, quesadillas, nachos and chicken sandwiches.
