Something important to know off the bat – this is off the BASE FARES. This means that you will still pay for the government taxes/fees and CARRIER IMPOSED FEES. So, you will be paying more than just the $5.60 of the government fees as the airline assigned some of their own fees to the ticket price, outside of the base fare.
Still, you will be able to save some good money, depending on your flights and days. For my example, I found Buffalo, NY to Fort Myers, FL for February. It comes in at just $75.80 round trip, a saves of $22.16 off the regular price.
