If you finish the Athens half marathon, you will earn Aegean airline miles! This is a genuine mileage run and a nice way to pick up some miles for a great race!

Aegean is once again stepping up to reward runners who finish a race! With the upcoming Athens Half Marathon, you can earn miles for completing it! Here are the details.

Run the Athens Half Marathon and Earn Miles

The Athens half marathon is coming up quickly but if you happen to be in or near Greece and want to earn some extra miles :), you can do that by finishing the race! Here is what you need to know:

The Athens Half Marathon is on March 17th. If you have not yet registered and want to, registration is open until March 4. Here are the prices:

Here is the breakdown of the miles you would earn when completing your registered race distance:

  • Half Marathon Road – 2,100 award miles
  • 5km Road – 500 award miles
  • 3km Road – 500 award miles

To get those miles, click this link and register your bid. If you haven’t registered yet, click the link for your selected race and sign-up.

And, before you ask, you cannot just sign-up and get the miles :). You have to finish the race.

I love that Aegean does this and wish more airlines would chime in with these types of incentives for runners. With Delta’s CEO being a marathoner, I would love to see them do it!
