Apple is running a portal deal with two different airlines. This gives you the option to choose which airline you would like to earn miles with.
Earn 6 Miles Per Dollar With Apple
With this deal, you can earn 6 British Airways Avios per dollar at Apple or 5 American Airline miles per dollar. Here are the details.
Here are the terms for the offer with British Airways:

To put it simply, you can earn miles on all Apple products except the new iPad Pros, new MacBook Air, and the new Mac Mini. The good news is that, if you are eligible, you will earn miles using the educational discounts.
The British Airways deal runs until December 10, 2018.
The terms for Apple are similar – earn miles on all Apple products (not Bose) except the latest products which are the new MacBook Air, new Mac Mini, or the new iPad Pros.
This offer does work for the new iPhones, including the iPhone XR (which was exempted in the last offer like this). This offer expires at the end of today.
Which Portal To Use?
I would suggest going through the American Airlines portal. There are more than enough ways to earn British Airways Avios and transfer partners. AA miles are a bit harder to get. Yes, it is 1 mile less per dollar but I think it is still the best choice.
