While the Apple Watch has gotten most of the smartwatch noise over the last year, there are other smartwatches. In fact, one of the earliest, most popular was the Kickstarter darling – Pebble. I still have an original Pebble watch and, as a basic smartwatch, it has been really good. Not only do I get my notifications, but the battery just lasts and lasts. But, Pebble did not stop there. They have since released other smartwatches with color displays and those are the ones that are on sale today.
Deal of the Day: Pebble Smartwatches On Sale
It used to be possible to get Pebble smartwatches for great prices from Cowboom but that fantastic deal site is no more (it has been swallowed up by Best Buy’s outlet site which is nothing like Cowboom with their prices). If you want a new Pebble Smartwatch, these deals might be for you. But, like with all Amazon Deal of the Day items, it is available for today only.
One of the many nice things about Pebble watches is that they work with either Android or iOS so you do not have to have an iPhone to get notifications.

Keep in mind that the regular prices are what Amazon has listed. You may find some cheaper prices than even today’s deals if you check the Used listings on Amazon.
While some may not like the look of the Pebble Round watches because of their bezel, it is probably the best deal around for a color smartwatch and certainly something that will vary by user. Check the uploaded photos on Amazon to see if you may like it.
Smartwatches are certainly not for everyone but mine is one that has been incredibly useful for me, especially when I travel (I have the Garmin Fenix 3). My phone can stay in my pocket and I can see e-mails, messages, phone calls, notifications – all of it with just a glance at my wrist. It is especially nice with Google Maps while walking around a new city. Get directions and then just look at my watch when it buzzes to tell me where and when to turn.
