The leader in consumer drones is DJI and they basically have a drone for every preference and price range and today, one of those is having a great sale.

A quick look at the DJI lineup for those not familiar:
- DJI Mavic Mini / SE – a 249 gram drone that does not need any registration to fly – $299
- DJI Mavic Mini 2 – an upgraded version that keeps its small size but adds more video/photo features – $449
- DJI Mavic Air 2 – a slightly larger done with even more upgraded camera and video features, as well as longer flight times – $799
- DJI Mavic Air 2S – an upgraded version of the Air 2 – $999
And then there are higher prosumer drones above that. But, the key thing to note is that the sale today is not just for the Mavic Air 2 at $789 ($10 less than retail) but it is for the Fly More Combo that brings a whole bunch of pretty essential accessories to the mix.
The Fly More Combos bring two extra batteries, extra propellors, charging hub, and filters as well as a carry case. Altogether, that normally costs $999 for the DJI Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo. Today only, that can all be had for $789, or $10 less than just the drone.
Sure, you can get by without the Fly More Combo but if you are out flying for a while, you need an extra battery. Once you throw that cost in you start getting closer to the Fly More Combo which just makes more sense – especially with this deal!
I have owned/used a bunch of DJI drones including the Mini, the Mini 2, the Mavic 2 Pro, the original Mavic, the original Mavic Air and the Mavic Air 2S. I think this model right here presents the best deal around right now as it puts it very close to the Mini 2 Fly More Combo price while still being quite a bit under just the Mavic Air 2S cost (and with similar features though with a 1/2 inch sensor instead of the 1 inch sensor of the 2S).
This is sold and shipped by Amazon so you have that going for you also. All told, this is a very compact, pretty high performing consumer drone at a great price.
