SPG Moments (and now Marriott Moments) has been the source of some really awesome packages over the years. I have purchased (with points) some of them and they have been some of my all-time favorite uses of SPG points!

For the aviation geek, this one will be sure to delight! There are some Boeing 777 simulators available to book (like in Germany) or 777 Experiences (in Canada) but they all cost money. This one is redeemable only with Marriott points and you get the included 2 nights in the Le Meridien in a club room as well.

Here is what the package comes with:

• Flying experience in the Boeing 777 simulator, run by a professional pilot for  2 persons , 20 minutes for each and 15 minute briefing. (1 hour experience, 20 Nov) – at the Egypt Air Training Academy
• 2 nights in a Club Room, at Le Méridien Cairo Airport for two (check-in 19 Nov, check-out 21 Nov)

I have stayed in the Le Méridien Cairo Airport as well and it is a very nice place (I even ran 26.2 miles on their treadmill for my Africa segment of my 6 marathon runs / 6 continents / 5 days). With this package you, you will have access to the lounge (also a very nice place). This airport is located inside the Cairo Airport so you can just drop your bags there when you arrive.

Of course, you are probably not going to fly to Egypt just for this package, but should you be anywhere in the area, this could be a really cool experience! Also, keep in mind that there are some fantastic business class deals from Cairo to the US sometimes. At the very least, you can get tickets for less than you would get elsewhere (for example, I often see Turkish Airlines business class from Cairo to JFK for under $750 one way).
