It is pretty much impossible to board a plane these days and not see iPads everywhere. Over the years, the price of iPads have come down and that has made it more accessible to many – whether it is for work, entertainment, or for your children on a long trip. Today’s deal represents the best deal yet on the popular iPad.
Best Price Ever – Latest iPad 128GB Model for $299

On Prime Day, Amazon had this same model at this price but you had to be a Prime member to buy it. Today, Best Buy has it at this price. This is an exceptional price because it is actually cheaper, right now, to buy the 128GB model than it is to buy the 32GB model!
While the 32GB model gets frequent discounts to $249, paying $50 extra for the 128GB model should be a must. That is because you cannot expand your storage space on an iPad (unless you are connected to the cloud – which you generally aren’t when traveling) and the extra $50 gives you 4 times the storage space.
This means you will have plenty of room for apps and videos. I have a 256GB that I use for media editing and I still have plenty of room left on that so a 128GB model should be perfect for most people.
Another great thing about this iPad is that it is the cheapest one to work with the Apple Pencil (1st generation). This opens up a lot of great uses and design options for creative people! My kids are practicing drawing all the time with this – and it is an easy quick share with someone special when you are done!
Just remember – there are rumors that Apple may introduce a 10.2″ model in October. That is a little bit bigger and it will have an upgrade processor with it and probably a better camera. For the price of this model, I would not even think twice – I would buy this one. It is still plenty fast and that storage is a key factor with purchasing this particular iPad model.
Cellular, Too!
The cellular versions of the 128gb model are $130 off as well. That makes them $429. Having a cellular iPad equipped with a Google Fi data SIM card is truly a great piece of travel tech to have! Is it worth an extra $130? It depends on what you are doing while out and about.
