Best Buy’s Black Friday Sales Revealed – With Some Items Available Now

Black Friday
Written by Charlie

The Black Friday sale for Best Buy has been sent out and there are 8 items on the list available today. Find out what they are and if they are worth it right now.

I have spent many an early morning on Black Friday waiting outside of Best Buy over the years (I know, but I did it with my brothers and made quite a bit of money flipping things to those who slept in!) and that was always my favorite Black Friday store. When they introduced their elite program (love it!), they used to open those sales to members the Monday before Black Friday – online! Now, they weren’t doorbusters, but everything else!

Best Buy’s Black Friday Sales Revealed – With Some Items Available Now

Edit: It appears Best Buy did not put out all of the good stuff – until they it by accident! The great BFADs website caught it before they pulled it down and they have the complete advertisement here.

Don’t forget the Best Buy/Amex Offer deal!

Black Friday

Today, Best Buy released their Black Friday ads and there are several items of interest on it. I will leave you to decide what works as a deal for you as you can see the sale items on this page here.

But, there are 8 items available today and some of them are pretty good deals. Here is the list:

  • TabletsSave $100 – $125 on select iPad Air 2 models – link
  • Free $250 gift card for Samsung Galaxy S6 – link
  • Toshiba 55″ LED 1080P HDTV for $349 (save $200) – Link
  • Insignia 40″ LED 1080P HDTV for $159 (save $120) – Link
  • Insignia 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer for $99 (save $100) – Link
  • 27″ iMac w/ 5K Display and i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD – $1,649 (save $150) – Link
  • Save $150 on select MacBook (12″ model new this year – 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM) – Link
  • Netgear Security Cameras (4-pack) for $399 (save $100) – Link

Now, from that list there is one thing that I think is the best deal – and it is not the iPad Air 2s! It is the MacBook. This is my everyday computer and I love it! For $1,149, it is a really good deal. Even better, that means the price of the open-box models have dropped as well. So, you can pick up an excellent condition open-box model for $1,045 (plus, these work with the 10% mover’s coupons that you can find on eBay – at least they did last month!). Do not worry about the open box models. I had purchased an iMac 27″ (better model than above at a better price than above) as an open-box model and there was a problem with the headphone jack. They gave me a brand new computer for the same price! They are very good about backing up their open-box models!

The reason I am not too excited about the iPad prices is that Staples has been running even better deals on them from time-to-time. I would pass on them here as this is one of those things you are better off waiting for, if you can. If you buy Staples gift cards on eBay during those sales, you are already 15% off plus you can get the regular sale price and a better portal discount than Best Buy has. Of course, you can also buy the iPads in store at either Best Buy or Staples and use the Discover Cashback with Apply Pay for a good deal. So, you have a lot of options.

But, since Staples does not sell the MacBook, this is a pretty good price. Again, you can do better with the Apple Pay/Discover deal directly with Apple, but you may be using the limit for something else.

Don’t forget to sign-up for a My Best Buy account to earn points for future purchases! Also, do not forget to use your Amex card with the Best Buy offer ($20 back on $199 or more) saved to it!
