Maybe you are thinking right now, “hydration pack for running, what?!” Well, yes, they actually do come in quite handy! Of course you aren’t likely to need them for a casual 5 miler, but if you do a lot of long runs or you are going to try out ultra-marathons, they can be exceptionally helpful! I have a couple in my closet that I pull out when I need them, and they even work great if you just want to wear a pack to run to the store to pick stuff up!
Amazon Deals on Hydration Packs and Backpacks
If you were looking for a new backpack, Amazon has some deals on Timbuk2 and Osprey packs that may interest you as well.
There are a ton of CamelBak hydration packs available for everyone, depending on your interest. Rather than link to over 100 bags, check them all out here.
If you are not into running/biking/skiing/hiking or recon stuff (yes, some of those packs above are for recon use), you may want to check out these deals from Timbuk2 and Osprey. I do not have bags from either company but know that people do like those brands. If you are one of those people, check it out!
Remember, Amazon’s holiday pricing is in effect so you have until January 31 to return anything that is sold by Amazon.com!
I would add that CamelBak does stand behind their products. They replaced the top on my coffee mug when the lid broke — twice. Even though this exposes an engineering/design problem, it shows that they do “have your back,” even when the product design is wanting. No questions asked.
