HT: Dans Deals
Here is a great deal to get 40% off at Shoes.com! Of course, I am thinking running shoes, but it works on shoes of all kinds! In fact, this code is working on running shoes that are normally excluded from discounts. It brings the extreme high-end of running shoes down to the average price.
Along with this deal, you can also go through a shopping portal to earn points or cashback to make the deal even sweeter. The best deals on that are with Ultimate Rewards (giving 6X points per dollar), Big Crumbs (giving 7.8% cashback), and Ebates (giving 8.5% cashback). So, make sure you start at one of those links first to ensure that you will get the points.
Now, click on the tab in the middle of the homescreen for Reveal Your Savings Now. Now, according to Dans Deals (and this worked for me), open that link in an Incognito Browser (if using Chrome) or InPrivate for other browsers. If you do not get 40%, close the incognito browser and continue opening the link until you get the 40%. I received it first try. Once you get that code, go through your shopping portal to apply the code to your order.
The code can be used for one item. Shoes.com offers free shipping both ways so this is a no-lose situation. There are some great deals to be had but you must make your purchase by 11:59PM CST on February 26, 2014. Have fun shopping and racking up some great points while you are at it!
Thanks! You saved me $60 – Combined with the free Shoprunner 2 day shipping this is awesome! Amazing how many pairs of shoes you go through when training for Marathons!
Great job! I know, I went through two pairs (and that was stretching them) in the last three months of 2013 🙂
Thank you for the tip! I had been going back on forth on buying a new pair of running shoes or waiting another couple months, but this was just the push I needed. Picked up a sweet pair of Asics for 40% off plus earned several hundred UR points, and also put the purchase on my UR card. Can’t beat that value! Broad Street Run (Philadelphia) here I come!
Thanks so much for sharing this! I grabbed another pair of my favorite Mizuno sneakers (and cash back with ebates). Really appreciate it – and all the other tips you share!!
