United Airlines Cyber Monday Sale

United Airlines is getting into the Cyber Monday fun again. Try half-price (of normal award prices) awards for elite members to Europe and pretty close to that for general members as well.

Here is how this works – if you are a general United member (no status) with no United credit cards, you will pay roundtrip awards starting at 42,000 miles from the US to Asia or Europe. From there, it only gets better with United Premier Platinum or 1K members with credit cards paying from 30,000 miles! Here is a graphic to show you how it works:

Just make sure you note the “from” part of terms! I have a United credit card with no elite status and am seeing some prices like 48,000 miles to Australia from western NY and 42,000 miles to Japan from western NY. Remember – this only works with flights operated by United Airlines!

Discounted Award is only valid for roundtrip travel in United Economy from the mainland U.S. and Canada to destinations in the Europe, North Asia, South Asia, Japan, Oceania, and Australia & New Zealand regions.
Tickets must be booked no later than 11:59 p.m. local time on December 2, 2019.
For this offer, “roundtrip” is defined as travel from an origin city to a destination city with return travel ending at the origin city, and with all of the flights operated by United Airlines. Open-jaw itineraries within the same region do not qualify for the discount. Stopovers are not permitted.
