Time for another giveaway! I enjoy doing these as it allows for great feedback on different topics as well as giving me a chance to give away some of the gear I personally use and enjoy for all facets of travel and/or running. Today’s giveaway covers both areas very nicely and I use it for such.
Giveaway Item
Last year, I wrote about the SPIbelt – an accessory by runners for runners, but one that I have found to be very useful in travel as well. The SPIbelt is a spandex/lycra blend that allows for it to be very lightweight and expandeable to carry all of your essential gear with you without weighing you down or even feeling it bounce. I never go on a run without my SPIbelt and it has become a permanent part of my gear and travel bag.
SPIbelt has actually grown to make many varities of their product to allow for wrist straps (for small items) all the way up to messenger bags (to wear over the back and carry such things as iPads). Within the belt family, they also have options such as belts with gel slots as well as race bib tags. They also make belts for insulin pumps.
Probably one of the best things about these belts is that they are manufactured right in the US. I already have a couple that I use to carry my phone, credit cards, license (or passport when abroad), gels, and key and I can carry it all without any bouncing.
For All Travelers
For travel, these are great because you can put the usual contents of your pockets into a SPIbelt and wear that through the airport until you get through security. It makes it easy as it gives you access to all of your important stuff while allowing it to all be put on the X-ray belt with just unclipping the belt. Even when you get to your destination it can continue to be useful as it functions as a great way to carry stuff without having to wear something bulky (no fanny packs!).
For the winner, you will get your choice of any of the belts on this page here. If there is another product on the website you want and is comparable in price, we can swap for that.
The Giveaway Rules
For this giveaway, I would like you to comment on what your favorite economy cabin was. Even if you don’t remember, just mention a cabin that you have flown on before. While miles and points give access to premium cabins, not all of us can fly premium all the time. Since we have options when it comes to travel, it is nice to know what the favorites are when it comes to economy cabins. So, just mention the airline and whether it was domestic or international (if you know the model of plane, that would be great too). Something like this – Delta – International or United 777 – International. Either domestic or international is fine.
Here are the rules:
- The giveaway will end at 11:59PM EST Monday (September 15)
- You may enter once per person per day
- Your comment must be about your favorite/preferred economy cabin
- You must live in the US
- The winner will be randomly drawn, courtesy of Random.org
- I will post on Tuesday who the winner was
- Results are final and all decisions are made by me alone – I am buying the SPIbelt and they are not involved in this giveaway
