Without even trying a pair yet, I already feel that the Freewavz Earphones could be the best earphones I have ever used – for running and every day use. That is somewhat a bold claim to make for something that I have not even touched yet, but I have come to know the creator, Dr. Eric Henson, over the last few weeks and have really enjoyed and appreciated the knowledge that he has imparted to me about their development and the amount of engineering heavyweights that he has on the team. Plus, he gave me a live video demo of them and showed me the ins and outs of the product and I am very impressed.

And I am not the only one that feels like this about them. There are some very heavy hitters that are also rumored to be interested in the Freewavz Earphones as well as some top notch athletes that are spokespersons for the Freewavz.

I have written about these a couple of times and urged people to get in on the price while it was low (during the Kickstarter funding). I have to admit, last week it looked like they would not meet the $300,000 funding mark on Kickstarter. I was disappointed because I really want to be able to use them. But, with an unbelievable late surge, they met the funding with just 24 hours to spare and cleared it with room to spare. And they are not done yet! You still have a chance to jump in and get a deal on these earphones before they are launched. The retail price is $299 – there are still many left at the special $199 price. But, once the campaign closes, that price is gone. So, these earphones are now coming. They are ready to be pushed into production, so they will be here.
