I know there are many point fans that are saving up points with their eyes on a Disney adventure. If that is you and you have quite a few Marriott or SPG points ready for that adventure, this could be the package you dreamed about! It comes with 3 nights in a presidential suite, Disney Parks passes, and much more!
Use Marriott/SPG Points to Bid on an Ultimate Disney Getaway
Link: Marriott Moments Package
Here is what this ultimate Disney getaway package includes:
- Three-night stay for four in a Presidential Suite at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort
- Disney Park Hopper tickets for Disney Theme Parks for all three days
- One Character Dinner at Garden Grove restaurant
- Daily breakfast provided
- Limo transportation to and from the airport
- Experience is for four people
For those that like the more luxurious hotel stays, the suite should be attractive to you all by itself! There are 8 presidential suites at this resort and they come with such things as a grand piano and some balconies with very attractive views (here is a 360 degree view of the a presidential suite bedroom).
Those suites are of the call-in variety so no prices on them but my guess would be that a 3 night stay in one of them would easily run over $6,000 in total.
The Park Hopper tickets would appear to be a value of $1,500 in actual cost for the 4 people for 3 days. Then you have the meals thrown in as well and the limo transportation from the airport (getting away from Orlando airport in a timely manner, never mind the luxury limo, is quite a value by itself!).
Altogether, this package is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime trip for a family that really wants to splurge on the Disney experience. The Swan and Dolphin Resort will put you right there and the balcony views should be great for the evening fireworks.
Auction Details:
- Auction Ends: July 27 at 12:00PM ET
- Current Bid: 702,500 Marriott points
As you can imagine, this even would cost a lot of you paid cash and is going to cost you a lot to pay with points! The bidding is currently at 700,000 Marriott points and it ends tomorrow. That equates to 233,000 SPG points. Of course, you can transfer over Chase Ultimate Reward points to Marriott but I would not think that would be a great deal, value-wise, unless you need to top up.
Of course, there are at ton of other things you could do with that many Marriott/SPG points but if Disney is the goal, this would be a pretty fun way to do it.
Good response in return of this issue with firm
arguments and telling all regarding that.
