American Express and Delta have upped their credit card offers. These offers can net you up to 90,000 miles, not bad even with devaluations that Delta has made over time. This is partly due to the floor of 1 cent per mile that you get with Delta when you use miles to pay for the ticket.
New Delta Credit Card Offers – Up to 90,000 Miles
Last year, American Express raised the annual fees on these cards while also offering a refreshed bonus offer. While the headline was 100,000 miles on some cards, it required waiting until your second year started with the card – which meant paying another annual fee – to get the full 100k. This time, you can get the full bonus just by meeting the spending. For good measure, they are also throwing in statement credits as well.
These increased bonus offers are available on 6 total American Express cards, both on business and personal sides. Just keep in mind that the business Reserve and personal Reserve would be the best options for people that actually strive for elite status with Delta, because of the elite miles that come bundled as well as the annual fee you would have to pay.

Which Card Should You Choose?
I would recommend you go for the Amex Delta Gold card. This will give you 70,000 miles and a $50 statement credit just for spending $2,000 – no annual fee the first year. If you want more miles and do not mind paying 1 cent per mile, you could go for the Amex Delta Platinum card. This will give you 90,000 miles and a $100 statement credit but also charge you a $250 annual fee up front.
If you are chasing status with Delta, the Delta Reserve card would be of interest, since you are getting 20,000 elite miles as well. In the past, you would want to weight those elite miles against the cost of paying $550 in the annual fee. In some cases, you could purchase and fly a flight that could give you that many elite miles – instead of paying an annual fee that high. However, given the current condition of travel, it may be better for you to pay the $550 for the annual fee. On the other hand, make sure you really are going to be able to take advantage of this elite status before paying that big chunk!
