Aegean Airlines is the national airline of Greece and they have an-ever growing list of destinations on their route map. If you want to travel to Greece from eastern Asia/Middle East, Africa, or Europe, Aegean Airlines may be the best way to do it. This is the time to sign-up for their frequent flyer program.
New Aegean Members Get Enough Miles for a Free One-Way

Aegean is part of the Star Alliance which means you can use their miles to fly on such carriers as Lufthansa, United, Austrian, SWISS, EVA, Singapore, and more. While their US-EU business class awards now cost 55,000 miles one way instead of just 45,000 miles, little quirks like including Israel in Europe can still make this worth it!
Free Miles – Yes, It is True!
Plus, you are getting 6,000 miles for free! Not only that, if your family all wants to sign up, a family of 4 would get a total of 24,000 miles and you could transfer all of them to one account at a cost of €45 (it costs €15 to transfer up to 50,000 miles). Or if you know someone who has Aegean Silver or Gold, you can also use the account pooling to transfer miles into that person’s account.
Oh, and 1,000 miles do count as both award and elite miles so you are on your way to earning elite status without making a purchase or stepping on a plane! Lastly, 6,000 miles is enough for a one-way award anywhere within Greece on Aegean. When Greece reopens next year, this could make a great way to get around Greece for less during the peak season!
Here are the details:
- The offer is valid for new Miles+Bonus registrations or Basic account upgrades that will take place from 26.11.2021 (00:00, Greece time) up until 29.11.2021 (23:59, Greece time) through aegeanair.com, olympicair.com and the AEGEAN APP.
- The 1,000 miles refer to both tier miles in the Miles+Bonus program. The 6,000 miles refer only to award miles.
- The miles will be automatically credited to the Miles+Bonus account upon completion of the Miles+Bonus registration.
