Miss Out On Selecting Nights With Your IHG Promo? Still Time!

The IHG “Into the Nights” Promo was a pretty decent one for many – and great for many others! In my case, I received an offer for 50,000 points or 2 free nights at any IHG. I ended up selecting the free nights, but just barely!

Still Time To Select Free Nights From IHG!

The cutoff date to select the free nights instead of the points was January 31. I had actually held off on my selection of the final reward – 25,000 points or 1 free night – because I was trying to figure out an upcoming redemption. When I did decide for the night, the website was down (and is still down). I contacted the IHG twitter team to find out how long before it would be back up, reminding them that it was the final day to select. They told me to e-mail the customer care department.

But, they came back a short time later and told me that the selection will actually be good through February 28, not January 31. Not sure if they extended it due to problems with the website or not but that may be a welcome reprieve to any of you who, like me, held out until the last minute and found the website down. If you do want to select the free nights and you have not made your selection yet, you can e-mail them or phone them (888-211-9874) and let them know what you want to select.

While I am disappointed that it was not as easy to take care of as it should have been, for a promo that was filled with technical problems at the start, I guess it is only fitting it goes out the same way!
