I wrote several months ago about why I believe the Southwest Rapid Reward cards are the best domestic travel credit card. Even with the coming devaluation (written about here), they are still an incredible source for domestic travel, especially if you have the Southwest Airlines Companion Pass (can be earned with the help of applying for two Chase Southwest credit cards – like a business and personal).
However, according to the marketing material, the high bonus on these cards expires on the 30th. The cards will still be around (and will probably be at 25,000 points again) but the great bonus will no longer be 50,000 (at least until they raise it again, which they seem to do every 3-4 months).
