If you want to get some cheap travel in before summer hits, check out this JetBlue “Fly as You May” sale with tickets from $44. You have two days to book so look soon!

JetBlue is out with one of their sales, something that is more rare than the weekly Southwest sale. Like the typical JetBlue sale, it is not valid for their whole calendar but does have you covered for the next few weeks of travel. If you want to get some pre-summer travel in, this could be a good way to do it.

JetBlue Sale Details:

  • Book by 5/1/19 (the earlier of 11:59 PM ET or local time).
  • Travel between 5/8–6/20/19
  • Blackout dates: 5/23–5/28

So, they have blacked out Memorial Day weekend, which is to be expected. But, there are other dates that are available and it is nice that JetBlue allows a more close-in booking timeframe than Southwest does (Southwest typically requires 21 day advance purchase, JetBlue allows for 7 days with this sale).

The cheapest city pair is Long Beach, CA to Sacramento, CA for $43.30. Seriously, if you live in Long Beach, you have no excuse about cheap fares! Both Southwest and JetBlue often have their cheapest city pairs with Long Beach as one of the cities included. The southwest US is open to you for less than the cost of a nice dinner someplace (with Las Vegas being the other city in the pair with Southwest, you could even get one of those all-you-can-eat if you really wanted to get a big dinner!:) )

If you want to go the points route, those are available from 2,200 points for the same cheap city pairs and they go up from there. That price point gives your points a value of 1.71 cents per point, which isn’t that bad for JetBlue.
