Running with Miles started almost 5 years ago and it has been a great 5 years! I have really enjoyed the interactions with all of you and watching the readership steadily growing over the years. I had started with writing 3 posts per week to now averaging more towards 2-3 posts per day – and this is not my job!
Out of the almost 2,800 posts here, all but a few had been written by me. The other ones were written by great writer and fellow blogger, Dustin. Dustin’s blog, Waller’s Wallet, has had some really good material and I like the way he thinks and writes. I had asked him if he would do some guest posts and really liked reading them myself as well seeing the interaction that took place. I asked Dustin if he would like to become a more regular contributor and he said yes! So, as his busy life allows, you will begin to see more regular posts from him. I think you will really enjoy them.
We have talked about a couple of the first few posts and one of them takes a view that is a bit different from an angle I have talked about before – and I like that! It is good to get different sides of the deals that are out there to get a complete perspective of value and worth. It should be great to get this post and other posts like it out here and I hope it creates some decent discussion.
Here is a bit about him in his own words:
After completing 6 years of pharmacy school, I finally had the time to travel. I started investigating ways to travel for less and when I redeemed my first award flight for my honeymoon, I knew I was hooked! Fast forward a couple of years and places I had never dreamed of visiting like Budapest, Honolulu, Bermuda and many other places where all within my reach, and for little to no money out of my pocket. Now, I have collected well over a million points and miles, and try to help people travel for less on their wallet.
I am looking forward to reading his posts and I hope you do as well! Don’t forget you can read his own blog at Waller’s Wallet as well as follow him on Twitter @wallerswallet as well.
