Getting the Offers
Log in to your American Express account and scroll down to the bottom. You will see Amex Offers For You. Select it and add the offer you want to your card. Make sure you make note of which card you save it to.
To maximize it, add the offer to separate cards, simply login to your American Express account and then choose to duplicate the tab (if using Google Chrome) as many times as you have cards. Once they are all open, select a different Amex card in each tab and select to save the offer to the card.
Make sure you save these offers as soon as you can – using the tip above to maximize – as they are limited enrollment and when they are gone, they are gone! Even if they disappear, as long as you have saved the offer, you are all set.
For Twitter, you can sync your American Express card with your Twitter account and then tweet the hashtag for the offer to @AmexOffers. You will have to sync each card separately or use different Twitter accounts.
Amex Offers
Verizon Wireless
- Spend $100 or more, get $25 back
- Good 2X
- Expires 2/21/2017
- Offer valid on wireless services at verizonwireless.com or by calling 1-866-804-6848. Offer not valid in-store or at kiosks. Offer valid on wireless services, equipment and accessories
This is a really great offer! It is on all my cards and that it includes equipment is part of what makes it great. I have saved this on 9 different cards. You can select to pay a certain amount per transaction so if you set for $100, you could end up paying off devices or prepay for months and (in my case) get $450 back on $1,800 loaded on my account (because you can use it twice per card). Definitely get this one saved and set it up for use!
Samsonite
This has come around from time to time and if you follow the instructions here when everything lines up, you can save significant money!
- Spend $200 or more in one or more transactions, get $40 back
- Expires 12/31/2016
- Valid in-store or online
While not as good as last year’s Amex Offer (spend $150, get $30 back), it is still valuable if you want to pick up some quality gear. My advice would be to add the offer to your cards but do not use it yet. Wait until portal payouts get better and I will certainly let you know when that happens.
Ruby Tuesday
- Spend $30 or more, get $10 back
- Expires 12/31/2016
- Valid in-restaurant and online
- Not valid for e-gift cards or physical gift cards purchase online (which means you can buy them in the restaurant)
The last time I ate at one, I had a big bug in my salad so hard for me to go back. 🙂 Still, a pretty great deal to get a 33% discount on all your meals there when you save it to all your cards and buy gift cards. Or, give them as gifts!
Did you get any targeted Amex Offer? Share it below!
mine was only available on my membership rewards eligible cards. but its for 2,500 points for $100. I didn’t understand though, it the Terms, it stated no more than 5,000 points, but it doesn’t say it can be used twice. Would you know any additional details? Thanks
That is a great deal! Strangely, it was not on my cards but the cash offer was on all my cards so I did not think it was targeted.
Yes, it can be used up to 2 times so you are fine doing it twice.
It was on all the amex cards that I manage that have my name on them (my own + my wife’s account’s AU cards) but was on none of the cards that have my wife’s name on them (her own cards + my account’s AU cards). So it is targeted, but couldn’t tell you why…we have the same Amex portfolio of cards with the exception that I have a Delta Gold Amex. Overall, I have access to $300 worth of credits! Thanks Amex! Now I just need to figure out if I can prepay in $100 increments with Verizon. Any idea? I have definitely paid in $75 increments during previous Amex offers for cell phone payments (general). One caveat is that you have to pay a slightly different amount…so $75, $75.01, $75.02 etc. It’s the prepay aspect of it that I don’t know.
