There is one thing I never go on a run without and rarely travel without – my SPIbelt. In fact, I have even given several away on this site since I enjoy them and appreciate them so much. If you are interested in finding out about the item you didn’t know you needed but will definitely love, read on!

The Deal on the SPIbelt
Until August 16 at 11:59PM CST, you can get 20% off almost everything on the SPIbelt website (it excludes the Luxe Belt)! To do so, visit the website link above and use code B2S2017 at checkout to get a 20% discount. This is the best discount I have seen in a while and it is certainly reason to check them out!
What is SPIbelt?
SPIbelt grew from a simple waistband belt to carry some basic things in when running to offering many great options that include larger pieces as well.
Not a run goes by that I do not have my SPIbelt on my waist. It carries my phone all the time and also carries my credit card, ID, change, cash, key, and GU when I am not carrying something else with a pocket. Yes, it can hold all of those things!
I put my SPIbelt through the ultimate test during my 6 marathon runs on 6 continents in 5 days as I used it for every run and for getting through airports. Not only did it hold up like a champ (with all the sweat every day!) during my runs but it also helped me to throw my pocket contents in it quickly when going through security at the airports.
Believe it or not, this does not bounce at all as you run. It stays nice and snug to your body and that pocket you see above stretches to accommodate your various running accessories. I have fit my iPhone, a second phone (just to try it, I don’t run with two phones!), a couple of credit cards, cash, and two gels in it before. Now, it did look a little lumpy but it fit it all and let me run with it!
One of the nice things about it is the type of material it uses. It is nice and soft so no worries about the pocket damaging any of your electronics that you may keep inside. There is no headphone hole in the pocket, so I normally wear my belt “upside down” (only way you know is the text on the belt is upside down) so that I can have my earbud cable enter just to the right of the zipper when zipped. It works very well.
There are many different colors to choose from as well as different kinds of the SPIbelts (including an awesome SPI messenger bag). My first one was the original SPIbelt (which is still in great condition) but switched to the Double pocket version as it fits my iPhone 7 Plus and cards in one and a small camera or passport in the other.
Great For Travel As Well!
This is a great accessory for the traveler as well! Imagine putting all of your pocket items in this belt before you get to the airport. No more little bucket that you are put all of your pocket contents in as you struggle to get them all. No more sticking those objects in your carry-on as you approach security only to not be able to find them in the bottom of the bag after clearing security!
Just put all of your wearable contents (phone, wallet, watch, money, passport, etc) in the belt, wear it to the airport, take it off at security, and throw it back on after! Not only is it efficient, but it will still leave you looking ready for a business meeting and not like you brought your fanny pack from the 1980s!
The Solo-Pocket
If you don’t want to deal with the whole belt for travel, they do offer the Solo-Pocket which will actually slide right onto your belt you already have. If you wear a jacket or something to cover your belt, you could easily fill this pocket with all of the gear from your pockets (including your wallet) and make your way all the way through and around airports without anyone noticing you are carrying a ton of stuff on your belt! When you get to security, just take your belt off! This accessory costs $11.99.
