Let me start by saying this – while this is the current generation 12” MacBook, it is the 2017 model and will be replaced this year. The new processors should be more powerful and much more efficient. However, the regular price for the 12” MacBook is $1,299 so figure on paying $500 more than this deal for that increase.
All that being said, the 12” MacBook definitely is a favorite for people who travel. I have owned one before (the 2016 version) and it was just unbelievably travel friendly with a great display. It also allowed me to even do some processor intensive tasks on the road as well. If you want the full MacOS experience, this is a great way to get it at a good price in a compact package.
This particular model is the base 12” MacBook so you are looking at a m3 processor with 256GB of SSD storage and 8GB of RAM. At $799 (and no tax for anyone outside of NY), this is a really good deal. In fact, you could probably flip it at the same price in a few months if you decided to go for something different!
Btw, if you are not a fan of the Rose Gold or Gold color, you could always throw a skin on it! I use dBrand skins and like how they fit and feel.
