Canon cameras are loved by professionals and hobbyists alike and their refurb sales offer some of the best opportunities to get some quality photo gear. My wife is a photographer and absolutely loves her Canon DSLR (which was a refurb deal) and a couple of her lenses are Canon ones as well.

But, they are also great for point and shoot cameras. They offer a lot of features and can normally be found during these sales at low prices. While some of the cheapest of cameras are currently out of stock, my experience has been that they will fill the stock again during the business week and you should be able to find some of these cameras again.
